Making Memories… Giving Hope

Christmas Superstars: Meet Alan!

Introducing our fourth Christmas volunteer, Alan!

Alan has volunteered on four breaks, but this is his first Christmas at CHICKS! Alan said: “I believe a CHICKS break at Christmas time will have a positive impact on the children CHICKS supports, enabling them to feel a part of something special and creating a wonderful bank of memories at a time of year when everyone should feel a part of this occasion.”

“My best memory of volunteering at CHICKS is the times when the children are having such a rewarding experience of simple things, such as building sculptures on the beach out of materials they have had fun searching for, or getting great amusement out of top trumps, which I always seem to lose!”

This year, our Christmas break has been generously sponsored by Ginsters. But we are already booking children onto our 2017 breaks, and we really need your support. Support us here.
